Our History

Alcide Maccagnola, company founder, began his own business in 1980, opening a small mechanical workshop specializing in the repair of motorbikes.  The learning and specialization of various welding techniques propelled the workshop to grow and to begin working as a supplier of welded assemblies for third parties for many companies in the area. In the year 1988, the Officina Maccagnola started a rewarding collaboration with an international company in the preparation of PVC profiles for glass-related products, introducing eventually the creation of an innovative mold for curved glass.  In 2007, Officina Maccagnola initiated its current work in commercial refrigeration, which soon after became international in scale, and has continued to expand. This growth of the company in 2009 allowed for the introduction of Alcide’s son, Marco, into the family businessꓼ the opening of a larger facility in Lonato del Garda in 2014, which works in close collaboration with the original base of operations in Calcinatoꓼ and the birth of Maccagnola Srl in 2015. Over time, significant investments have been made in new technologies and production processes that enable us to guarantee innovative solutions for commercial refrigeration.  These solutions, which commonly feature glass, PVC, and aluminum and built to print, are the created through close partnership between our technical office and our customers, upholding tight time constraints and delivering a high level of quality.
